The Technical Features of the FLARE HRIS System are as follows
 
    •  Employee Master File
      Manage and organize your employee data from the current details to job history records. With Flare, you can easily access important information. Some personnel information is as follow: name, education, dependents, employment details, email address, address, contact number and employee reference. You can search, sort and filter data as added features.
    •  Leave
      This tool allows you to customize and create allowed leave types in your organization and set up the details for each like description and accrual frequency. Some leave type examples are sick leave, birthday leave and maternity leave.
    •  Compensation
      This feature allows you to customize a compensation package for each employee on a specific position in the company. The package includes all the leaves and benefits of an employee. Each employee profile created has a corresponding compensation package created using this feature.
    •  Training
      Set up training programs available to the employees with details. This feature is used to list all the training events that the company will provide their employees. Attendees for these trainings are assigned by batch or individually. This feature manages the training category, training details, training per position, training events and schedules.
    •  Reports
      Flare comes with robust reporting options to meet your compliance and administrative needs. The system allows you to customize the data that you want to appear on certain reports. Some reports that the system generates are employee list, employee summary, employee shift, salaries and compensation, government ID list and infractions.
    •  Administration
      Assign users and create roles for the personnel who are allowed to use the system. This feature includes the following:

         •  Customize the currency or country on the application setup
         •  Apply your company logo and name on your Flare HRIS
         •  Add users who can access the system and customize their roles
         •  Add new user roles that can access the system
         •  Give module access limitation to a certain user role for added security
         •  Change the reports repository of the system
    •  References
      All the category or dropdown menus that appears on the employee master file is customized by the system administrator using the reference tables below:

         •  Employee relation - Creates entries for employee relations to help determine their relations to their dependents or referrals. Ex. Mother, Sister, etc.
         •  Position - Creates entries for existing positions within the company. This is useful once an employee gets a promotion or a new employee is hired.
         •  Employment Status - Creates entries for Company terms in employment status. Ex. Probationary, Regular, Resigned, Terminated, etc.
         •  Address Type - Create entries for address types like home address or business address.
         •  Contact Type - Creates entries for Employee Contact types like telephone, mobile or business phone.
         •  Religion - Creates entries for existing religions in the country.
         •  Department - Creates entries of the entire existing departments within the company.
         •  Benefit Type - This tool creates entries for Company terms in Benefit types like gas or meal allowance, Optical Benefit etc.
         •  Education level - Create entries for education attainment like bachelors degree, doctorate and vocational.
         •  Email Type - Create entries for email type like personal email or work email
         •  Shift Type - Create entries for different kinds of scheduled shifts like regular or night shift. The time for the schedule are also set up on this page.
         •  Government ID Type - Create entries for government recognized ID like SSS, Philhealth, passport and drivers license.
    •  Discipline
      This creates a disciplinary procedure or policy with sanctions for an employee within the company. You can set up the type of sanction, nature of offense and the offense type.
    •  Employee 201 File
      Administrative employee information like employment experience, employment history leaves, offense, training, shifts, promotion and salary package are tracked in the system.
    •  Admin 201 File
      Only administrators are can access this feature which allows him to create the actual package and assign salary to employees.
    •  Additional Features
         •  My Tasks - This tool serves as a memo pad to save reminders or notes.
         •  My Favorites - This tool allows the user to set their most frequently visited modules for faster navigation.
         •  Quick Links - This tool is also used for easy & faster navigation. It’s a bit different with My Favorites because the modules are displayed in tree view.

The system was designed for SME because it addresses their simple HR administrative needs. The system is not recommended for large companies because these companies have more comprehensive and complicated HR processes.

 I have an old payroll system; can I possibly integrate this with Flare HRIS?
We don't recommend integrating Flare with an old system because Flare was built on latest technologies that might not be compatible with the features of your old payroll system. You can seamlessly integrate the system with our Blaze payroll system and Crono time-keeping system.
 Will the HRIS reports print on any PC printers?
Yes, you can print the reports using any properly configured and compatible printers on your PC.
 Can the system be customized for our own company needs?
No, if customizing the system would mean adding new features or functionalities. Flare is a solution package that has all the necessary function to run HR. if ever we add new features to it, you can avail product updates though our website.
 Is there a maintenance cost for this?
When you buy Flare, you get to avail the product maintenance support for 12 months worth 15% of the selling price free of charge.
